Founder & CEO
K&J Tree Service

Kyle DeLucia is originally from Hamden, CT, where he founded K&J Tree Service in March of 2004. As an experienced business owner, Kyle focuses on forging customer relationships and business development aspects of K&J. He continually works to improve the systems, procedures, protocol, and quality control of the company. Kyle believes that a critical reason for the success of K&J is the devoted individuals that make up the K&J team. Each person has an essential and specific role that contributes to the overall prosperity of the company. Without such a talented team, the top-notch service K&J has become known for wouldn’t be possible. Kyle’s deep relationships, ongoing community involvement, and sociability accompany his well-rounded understanding of the trade. With the assistance of his team, Kyle is focusing on propelling K&J to the top of the tree-care industry.


Operations Manager
Norwalk office

Richard is a licensed arborist and certified tree care safety specialist. Growing up in the industry gave him a head start on his career.  Rick manages our office located in Norwalk. His position includes not only managing the staff but also our fleet of equipment and customer relations.  With a background in plant healthcare, Rick specializes in tree and plant remedies to help with various horticulture ailments.


Operations Manager
Hamden office

Edward oversees K&J’s office located in Hamden.  He is a certified tree care safety specialist and our tree technicians main point of contact.  Ed also meets with homeowners to assess their properties for tree work. His unique long-time background in the golf course industry has helped grow K&J’s customer base.  Pulling from his golf course experience and knowledge in root structure, turf quality and, playability,  Ed can work directly with the superintendent to produce the best conditions on the greens.


Arborist, New Haven County

Dan is a licensed arborist and absolute tree care professional. Dan meets with clients handling tree assessments and estimates in the New Haven County area.  His previous work as a tree technician coupled with his tree care knowledge enable him to give excellent advice about tree care.  Dan also enjoys discussing tree biology with property owners. He is a firm believer in industry standards, offering only the most holistic approach to tree work.


Arborst, Fairfield & New Haven Counties

Martin is a licensed arborist with over 40 years in the industry. Martin specializes in ornamental pruning and has a very extensive resume. After owning his tree service in CT for 18 years, Martin was recruited by the Walt Disney World Resort to maintain all of the trees in the Epcot World Showcase Gardens. Within this park, Martin would maintain health and hand prune trees from all across the globe while preserving themed landscapes from all eleven nations of the world.


Office Operations Manager

Keri manages all behind the scenes operations at K&J. Keri works directly with initial customer calls, and scheduling arborists and crews. Keri is also a specialist when it comes to handling emergency insurance claims. She is a versatile behind the scenes K&J operations expert and keeps our offices running smoothly.


Office Manager

Maryann is our Office Manager with over ten years of experience. Maryann has a complete understanding of all K&J’s systems, procedures, and policies. She also has experience working directly with municipal government agencies, as well as local and national disaster relief. As a seasoned professional, she keeps all of our moving parts in order. Maryann also assists with developing new systems protocols, processes, or ideas to improve company performance.


Safety & Production Manager

Bill is a licensed arborist who visits our tree crews throughout the day to aid in unique and/or complicated projects. Bill trains our technicians in new safety protocols and tree care techniques. Having vast industry experience, Bill is a resource for our crews to continue learning while on the job. From tree climbing to operating machinery, his management of K&J’s overall production is streamlining our processes and helping us maintain the high-quality tree care we strive to provide.


Administrative Dispatcher

Jess works with tracking crews progress on jobs throughout the day.  She will update our schedule accordingly, keeping our customers and management up to date.  At any given moment, Jess knows where any of our multiple crews are located and what time they will arrive at the next job.  She is K&J’s very own air traffic controller, managing fifteen teams on the ground.


Customer Relations Manager

Rob follows up after a job to confirm all of our work was completed as planned. He works with existing customers to finalize all details and is available to go over any financial questions.  His follow up action is essential to our maintaining positive customer relations as K&J always strives to be the first call for your next job.
